The beds are super comfortable, living area cosy, tastefully decorated and well-appointed. The apartments were clean and serviced every day. The swimming pool was steps away, perfect temperature, deep enough to swim laps. There is a ceiling fan, which was usually enough overnight but there is also an air conditioner if needed. You can walk to Muri beach or take the clock-wise bus a couple of stops. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into renovating and beautifying the property. They were kind, gracious hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely stay!

Ocean Escape Resort & Spa er staðsett í Rarotonga, í innan við 2,7 km fjarlægð frá Muri-ströndinni og 6,5 km frá Albertos. A beautifully designed & presented resort in a quiet, peaceful location. The pool area is superb & the villa we stayed in was spotlessly clean, comfortable, & well equipped. The owners seem to have thought of everything guests would need for an enjoyable stay. A great feature was the automatic soft blue night lighting in the villas which illuminated the stairs & bathroom. Easy on the eyes & no worries about falling over in the dark. The owners & staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty of food provided for breakfast, staff were happy to adjust if you needed a bit more of this & less of that. Completion of the on site Tapas bar & restaurant will be a welcome addition. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but the benefit of this was having the sandy foreshore & outdoor seating area pretty much to ourselves most of the time. Muri is just down the road if you want to swim in the sea & enjoy the company of others.

Apartment is very spacious, big living room, batch and kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. One twin and one matrimonial bedroom, the matrimonial one with a great view and balcony. Yes, it is a little run down and it may need a refreshing but everything was in good working order and mattress quality and sheets were great. Fully functional kitchen with all the utensils, spices, dish soap, etc. Great pool as the beach in front is not swimmable, too many rocks. Great use of kayaks to go to the motu just in front where the beach is just lovely. Staff very very kind and professional. A rental car is very recommended, 5 minutes drive to Muri lagoon and 10 minutes to town (Avarua). Would for sure come again, highly recommended.

The location is amazing… Steps away from a convenience store, delicious restaurant, and the best coffee and pastries on the island! The view from our villa was the absolute best part of our stay! We spent a lot of our time just lounging on our deck, watching the waves come in, and enjoying the ocean breeze! Rudy and Kanoe are exceptional hosts, and they made us feel right at home! The grounds are beautifully kept, and Kanoe’s artwork throughout the property makes it so extremely special! We loved our time at Tropical Sands, and would highly recommend it to anyone else coming to Rarotonga! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic location Whales cruzing by every day. Halve way between excellent snorkling places but far enough away from the main tourists. Very private. We were self catering however plenty of Papaw on the trees for us to eat every day.

It felt like a super comfy beach bach (holiday home) set just off the main ring road. Beautiful garden, cats, goats, chickens. The hosts were just great, even rented us a shooter at half the commercial rate - ran well too. Perfect for a off-resort, self contained, relaxing break.

Our stay was amazing. ❤️ The home is beautiful with everything we needed especially with the bad weather at the start of our trip. Flyscreens on all the windows and doors so no worrying about pesky bugs. The hosts are lovely and have lots of helpful information about places to go. We loved the little pool, perfect for cooling off on the hotter days. Would definitely stay again. 😁

The glamping tent was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. The outdoor bathroom was absolutely wonderful, showering under the stars. They left thoughtful amenities like a pareo and a canvas tote for guest use. I took the Sunday yoga class in the yoga pavilion and enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast delivered to my tent every morning.
