Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. Great location close to the sea, we could see whales in the bay from our balcony and there were many restaurant options close by. The room was clean, spacious and lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful.

Just 300 metres from the oceanfront, the 4-star Nautilus Guest House is a thatched residence with a seasonal outdoor pool and stylish rooms. Its staff can arrange whale watching and shark-cage diving.... Location is perfect, few minutes walking from old harbour where plenty of restaurants shops and cafes can be found. New harbour is just a short drive (5 min or less) for whale watching tours. Breakfast was delicious and host was great. Room was spacious comfortable and clean. Totally recommended to spend few relaxing days exploring Hermanus and surroundings or just relaxing at the swimming pool.

The Swellendam Country Lodge offers luxurious accommodation in a green setting. This boutique guest house features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi in all guest rooms. The room was really special with many touches that we appreciated such as the mini bar, magazines, coffee pods, shower cap and fluffy extra blankets. The spotless and spacious bathroom, and the large bed made for a wonderful night. The property is quiet, with leafy trees; parking is nicely located and it is safe. Breakfast was a delight.
