Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. From the moment you enter the property, you know you're in for a special treat! Upon entering reception, we were warmly greeted and efficiently checked in. After that, we had a personal tour around the property and then were shown our wonderful chalet. The deck is large and has a fabulous view of the canyon forest. The bed is comfortable. The bathing area is AMAZING. The restaurant staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. The food is great! We already have it in mind for our next visit to the Storms River area!

Head over Hills is an exclusive retreat in Knysna. Set on the jagged edge of the famous rocky cliffs of the Knysna Heads, this well-appointed guest house has a heated swimming pool. The staff there is very friendly and always helping

Located in Keurboomstrand, Singing Kettle Beach Lodge features panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and has an à la carte restaurant, terrace and free WiFi. Location, location, what a spot! If you are looking to be away from the city, on the water and having access to a restaurant on site, this is the place to go. There are several other restaurants near by but will need to drive. Service is top notch, they have though of every details.

One of best rooms I book in Garden Route. The view to the beach is unbelievable and unforgettable and worth every money you spend . Highly recommended with view to Sea

This place is a gem. Beautiful decor, position and friendly, very helpful staff. Not a thing could make it any better

Featuring a sea-facing sun deck, this beachfront guesthouse offers direct access to the sandy white beaches of Wilderness. It offers spacious rooms with a balcony and free Wi-Fi access. Dolphin Dunes was an exceptional experience from the moment we arrived until we left. It was such a pity we were only able to spend one evening at the Dunes. We would highly recommend the guesthouse, with its fabulous views, very friendly staff and their attention to detail. We hope to return in the future, and hopefully to stay longer!

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool. The staff’s attention to detail was outstanding. Well-appointed rooms, amazing outlook, brilliant theming & truly delicious food. An exceptional South African stay.

Falcons View Manor is situated on a hill overlooking Knysna Lagoon, 700 metres from the town centre. It features an outdoor pool, a library and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. My stay at Falcons Manor exceeded expectations. I stayed for a week and planned to do hiking and yoga while in the area. The staff were superb, they provided great advice, connected me with local services and guides; they were thoughtful and helpful. The food was excellent, dinners and breakfast. The breakfast choices were many, with lots of fresh fruits and great coffee. The pool was great and the gardens are lovely. A very relaxing and quiet location. I can’t recommend the place enough! Thank you for everything!
