The Oystercatchers Haven at Paternoster is situated right on the beach and just 2 minutes' drive from the village centre of Paternoster. It offers a plunge pool and en-suite rooms with sea views. The situation is stunning , Anesu is welcoming and generous with help and information . Breakfast was wonderful . Cant recommend it highly enough .

It was an absolute pleasure staying at the lodge. My partner and I had the time of our lives. We did not want to leave. On day one we decided we will certainly be back again. The ah! Guest House is situated in the fisherman’s village of Paternoster, 6 km from Cape Columbine Lighthouse. It features air-conditioned rooms with and free WiFi in the rooms and public areas. Fantastic place for our stay! Couldn't find anything better! Delicious chefs breakfast - never had such a great 3 course breakfast before. The owners, Annalise and Arnold, took so good care of us. The rooms were great and so nice decorated. Next to the beach and 1 minute walk to the nice restaurant, Leeto. We will definitely come back!

Bernadine and Sanet were amazing SO attentive and caring . Bernadine gave us all the information to find our way in the area . The breakfast was top notch Bernadine walking an extra mile . Jane was cleaning our room to the BEST. Nothing to complain about, the kindness , you were so helpful , we appreciated this . We come again the place is SUPERB . Boasting fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean, perfect for watching Southern Right Whales, this deluxe 4-star lodge is nestled in the dunes of Shelley Point. Everything was great as as others have said. But I want to point out to potential future guests how perfectly orientated this property is. Because it faces north it gets the best of the sun during the day without blinding sunsets, so you really can enjoy the view all day long. Plus it is well protected from the infamous Cape southeaster wind. The proximity of a rocky outcrop provides the added visual interest of waves breaking and birds gathering. There is direct access to the lovely shoreline path with its local flora (some with nicely annotated name tags) and birdlife. Apart from the marine animals (seals, dolphins) and birds (including the distinctive African Black Oystercatcher, of course) we were delighted by an apparently semi-resident tortoise and visits by guinea fowl and a steenbok.

Paternoster Place offers self-catering accommodation in a quiet private road and just 3 minutes' walk from the beach. Centrally located, the property is within walking distance to restaurants. This stay was fantastic. It's perfectly situated to be able to walk to the beach and down the main street to restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious, clean with everything you would need.. we really enjoyed our stay.
