It's a very nicely renovated hotel. There was a discrepancy between photos off booking.com and the actual room. The front desk upgraded us for no charge.

Located in downtown Portland, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Pioneer Place shopping center. Each stylish guest room offers a flat-screen TV and iPod docking station. There wasn't much for breakfast other than some fruit, coffee and tea. The coffee was good though.

It is within 3 blocks of the Portland Art Museum and 10 minutes' walk from Providence Park.... Perfect central location within walking distance from Pioneer Place, theaters and music venues, abundant shopping options, coffee shops, restaurants, convenience stores etc. all in close proximity. Airport/Washington Park tram (red line) stops 1 block from the hotel. Excellent staff - especially two gentlemen at the front desk (one with a beard and one with glasses - sadly, I do not remember their names). They went truly above and beyond, offering great recommendations, always smiling, cheerful, engaging, and happy to talk. Every single staff member I met (valets, cleaning ladies, maintenance personnel) was so very kind and welcoming. Stunning customer service. I got upgraded to a king room on the 15th floor with an amazing view of the city center. The room was clean, modern, and well equipped with a coffee maker, a fridge, and a safe. Fantastic bathtub PLUS a walk-in shower, towels made of incredibly pleasant material. The bed was large and super comfortable, great pillows and mattress. Housekeeping comes only every other day, but when they did come, they cleaned my room absolutely spotless. WiFi working well all across the property. Nice little gym on the lower level. Breakfast bistro and an on-site bar/restaurant offering a great choice of meals and drinks. Hot/cold water station free of charge for bottle refills. I travel around often, but I must say that I was blown away by Paramount Hotel. I could not believe this was a 3* property - excellent value for money, and incredible hospitality. It truly made my stay in Portland memorable. Do not look any further and make a reservation here. Thank you for everything, I can't wait to be back some day!

The hotel is really great! It is very charming and it has a super friendly staff! The location in downtown Portland is exceptional and it has everything to make your stay very pleasant. My room had a microwave and a mini fridge. The bed was big and comfortable and everything was perfect! They offer coffee or tea during the whole day. I enjoy everything about this hotel!!! I definitely want to come back!!!
