This cosy, family-run guesthouse enjoys a beautiful and quiet location on the Toaca hill on the outskirts of the historic town of Gura Humorului in the Bukovina region of northern Romania. We stayed at house Zenovia and everything was great. There are a lot of old decorations which reminded me of my grandmother's house. Quite a lot of attention to detail when choosing the decorations. It felt like living in a museum :). Also the lady at the reception was very nice. Outside there are quite a lot of things to do and explore also. Probably it's best to visit when it's warm outside and you can visit the fire pit also.

Located 200 metres from Suceava Train Station, Hotel Residenz offers free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk. Free parking spaces are available. Room was spacious and clean. Balcony was a bonus. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to the train station.

Boasting a modern spa area, to which guests have free access, Domeniul Dornei is amongst the Bistrita Mountains in Dirna Arini, a 10-minute drive from Vatra Dornei. We really had a good time at this property. Staff were extremely polite and helpful and made our stay memorable. We used the indoor swimming pool, saunas and massage facilities (special thanks to Mrs. Loredana - best massage therapist we had in Romania, so far).
