The room was huge and comfortable. Location unmatched.

THE QUIETNESS OF THE FOREST JUST BEHIND THE HOTEL. THE RECEPTION WAS VERY HELPFUL. WE COULD SAFELY PARK OUR MOTORBIKES IN THE PROPERTY. THE BREAKFAST HAD MANY OPTIONS FOR ALL TASTES.

It’s a historic townhouse next to the Poarta Schei that calls back to Austro-Hungarian empire glory with modern design touches, and a lovely little jewelry store downstairs which offers a discount to guests. Our room (the Onyx suite) had a flawless, original art deco bedroom furniture set, velvet curtains, and a deep standalone bathtub. We felt truly at home and as if in a palace at the same time. The street view was lovely and with the windows closed it was perfectly quiet. Don’t miss the wonderful a la carte breakfast service, especially the Russian breakfast! The careful aesthetic continues into the sitting room and breakfast experience. The car parking right out front was also a lifesaver. It’s a very small hotel with very personal service and always a lovely, friendly, helpful lady in the lobby if you need anything. We can’t wait to return!
