Located in a fully-renovated historical building, the Porto AS 1829 Hotel is located in the city’s historical centre. Noted Porto landmarks like the Clérigos Tower and São Bento Train Station are a 7-minute walk. The location was perfect. We didn’t take any public transportation the whole time of our stay because we could just walk everywhere. The room was beautiful, furnished with a great taste and attention to detail. Comfortable bed, pillows, black out curtains. Delicious breakfast in a lovely adjacent restaurant. We simply loved our stay and cannot recommend it enough!

Everything inside was in good condition, beautiful room, bathroom and inside garden. easy to check in and out. pleasant host. the price is meet expectations for such a good place. the best was: coffeemaker, fresh juice press, toaster, and cozy design

The property is a 5-minute walk from the Porto city centre and a 3-minute drive away from the iconic D. Luís I Bridge. Great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building and all of its areas were fully refurbished in 2018. Each room features stylish décor with wooden parquet floors, white painted walls and large French-style doors which open out to views of the city. There is a seating area with a flat-screen cable TV and a private bathroom decorated with mosaic tiles and free toiletries. The room was very big, and perfect for four people. Very nice stuff, awesome location, very clean, big rooms, comfort beds, a lot of space in bathroom and toilet, very nice leisure zones (terrace and mansard)
