Located within the walls of the Marvão Castle, at the top of the high village of Marvão, Dom Dinis Marvão features a rooftop terrace with a Jacuzzi® and panoramic views of the countryside below. Staff very pleasant. Looked after us very well indeed. Were upgraded on arrival. Hot-tub a boon. Fantastic panoramic view from balcony. Lovely continental breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Surrounded by vast, tree-lined gardens, the charming Convento São Paulo offers 2 outdoor pools a tennis court and offers 4 padel courts. we loved this property. probably the favourite property of our 3 week Portugal trip and definitely the most economical. owners work in the gelato store next door so were easily accessible, always welcoming and friendly. good sized bedrooms, 1 ensuite bathroom, one in the hallway. well equipped and beautiful kitchen. great location. air conditioning worked great. only flight up. beautiful and large rooftop deck.

Located 1 km from the town of Reguengos de Monsaraz, Outeiro do Barro features panoramic views of the Alentejo plains. Free WiFi is available. Lovely hostess, Rita is very warm and welcoming. She gave us plenty of information about the area and sites in the neighborhood worth visiting. Great breakfast, fresh bread, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, homemade cake. Nice and cosy room. Quiet location. Great value for money.

This property is located in the country side on a 5-minute drive out of Évora, one of Portugal’s most historic cities and the famed Roman Temple. Beautiful location in the middle of a cork plantation, close to Evora but isolated, kept very well. Great garden and pool.

Helped with negotiating restaurant bookings and locating cafes. Breakfast was generous and included many choices. Will recommend to family & friends.

Located within a 10-minute drive from Beja Airport, the Monte da Diabroria – Agroturismo is a tranquil property in the Alentejo. Very interesting place, it is a working farm. The people were very nice and helpful. Loved seeing the history of it. The bathroom was huge, loved the towel warmer.

It was literally a breath of fresh air. Quiet, green and comforting. The room was spacious and clean and the property was a joy to explore.

A beautiful little cottage tucked away in the medieval village of Marvao. There's a castle right next door and the village itself is fun to wander around in. The owner of the hotel was friendly and gracious, and the room was perfect. It felt like I was staying in a distant relative's home and not a hotel. Also, the breakfast was incredible. Definitely sign up for breakfast.

Just 2km from Monsaraz Castle, Monte Alerta is surrounded by a meditation garden, organic orchard and next to the largest artificial lake in Europe, the Alqueva. We liked how welcoming Victoria was. She was an excellent host. Our room (#3) was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. We liked the proximity to Monsaraz and to the OLA stargazing as both were just 5 minutes away. It was a good base for 4 days with day trips to Monsaraz, Evora and Estromoz. We plan on returning for a fall or spring visit.
