Surrounded by vast, tree-lined gardens, the charming Convento São Paulo offers 2 outdoor pools a tennis court and offers 4 padel courts. A very interesting convent in lovely countryside. We could explore the historic building. We were here in November so didn’t get chance to use the swimming pool but that looked worth coming back for. There are a couple of great walks laid out in the Convent estate. We had a good dinner in the restaurant. The room and breakfast were excellent, staff very helpful. We have already recommended it to friends who also travel in the area.

Featuring an outdoor pool, Royal Cocoa Company Palace offers accommodation in Montemor-o-Novo. The unit is in a chocolate factory, integrated into a palatial estate. Absolutely outstanding experience! We were treated to a visit to the palacete on our arrival, followed by a scrumptious afternoon tea. We were the only guests for the night, but we felt the family did absolutely everything to make us feel at home. Including an extensive breakfast buffet, made up of homemade and regional goodies, before we were taken round the chocolate factory. All in all, this was the best hotel experience I've had for a very long time

Located 1 km from the town of Reguengos de Monsaraz, Outeiro do Barro features panoramic views of the Alentejo plains. Free WiFi is available. Excellent location în the middle of a vinyard.

This property is located in the country side on a 5-minute drive out of Évora, one of Portugal’s most historic cities and the famed Roman Temple. * Very kind, helpful hosts/proprietors, who are available to let you in at the gate when you first arrive and call them. They also explain "rules" of the property clearly and show you to your room, and check if you are interested in arranging a breakfast / other meal for an additional fee. * Beautiful property exactly as described (there are plenty of animals around the property) * A small part of the house is available at night-time, only for access to some paid food+drink the hosts make available (wine, beer, some food), as well as some free food items (cake, water, possibly coffee, I believe) * I had a car and parking was very easy as well. In my case, I was able to park right in front of my building.

Surrounded by vineyards, the scenic A Serenada Enoturismo includes a wine cellar, where guests can taste Serra de Grândola wines. The stay at A Serenada Enoturismo has been the highlight of our trip. The staff and facilities were wonderful and the wine and food was fantastic. I will recommend it to anyone coming to Portugal!

The Estalagem de Marvão is located within the historic walled town center of Marvão. Everything. Location is amazing, house is awesome, facilities are fabulous and people are gems!

Located within a 10-minute drive from Beja Airport, the Monte da Diabroria – Agroturismo is a tranquil property in the Alentejo. Nice location, very clean room and hotel, friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly owners lovely rooms with good views. Comfortable lounge and communal balcony for enjoying the evening. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choices. We will stay here again on our next visit to this picturesque village.
