Beautiful and picturesque property and a wonderful story behind it. Calming atmosphere, friendly hosts and friendly dogs :) Every thing, every detail there is placed for a reason and with style. Exit from the room directly to the pool. Evora is only a few minutes away by car. If we could, my wife and I would reorganize our trip and stay at least a day longer.

The Estalagem de Marvão is located within the historic walled town center of Marvão. This restored property has comfortable rooms in an ancestral environment in the Portuguese Interior and includes a shop selling regional products. Joao and Branca were so lovely people, that I enjoyed my stay even haven fallen ill. The house is furnished with taste, the breakfast is rich and the house is well located. With the two souls inside I felt like at home. Thank you very much for the stay.

Located within a 10-minute drive from Beja Airport, the Monte da Diabroria – Agroturismo is a tranquil property in the Alentejo. The typically rural guest house features an outdoor swimming pool and a lush green garden. Wonderfull place. Very nice pool. Very frendly, polite and helpfull host and staff. Very, very good breakfast. Well be back.

It is set 7.4 km from Roman City of Ammaia and provides room service. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. Beautiful views from the balcony where we watched the eagles flying past. Great hosts and really good breakfast!

Just 2km from Monsaraz Castle, Monte Alerta is surrounded by a meditation garden, organic orchard and next to the largest artificial lake in Europe, the Alqueva. It features an outdoor pool, hot tub and free Wi-Fi. We liked how welcoming Victoria was. She was an excellent host. Our room (#3) was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. We liked the proximity to Monsaraz and to the OLA stargazing as both were just 5 minutes away. It was a good base for 4 days with day trips to Monsaraz, Evora and Estromoz. We plan on returning for a fall or spring visit.
