The Wheelhouse Inn features five self-contained houses and apartments with spectacular sea views, from Nelson's Port Hills to the lovely Tasman Bay. This was one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in. The views from everywhere were just incredible. The facilities were brilliant and if I could live there I would!

Keep it simple with our classic studio, relax and unwind in the spa studio, feel at home in our garden studio or bring the family and stay in the king studios. The room was very clean with nice little touches like a bottle of milk in the fridge and biscuits for tea. The location was great and close to a lot of amenities, including a short drive to the beach. We loved our stay here.

Built in 1888, The Prince Albert Backpackers & Bar is a heritage building with free Wi-Fi, an onsite bar and restaurant and a cafe on weekdays Prince Albert Backpackers is a 5-minute walk from Nelson.... The property is quite cozy, well designed. The staff has kindly helped us carry our heavy baggage upstairs.
