Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. There is free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. Everything was great. Stuff very nice, room clean and cozy. Dishes were fully cleaned. We can make dinner easily, which is quite important in mountain area. We stargazed in front of the cabin.

It is also ideally situated for those who enjoy trekking, with easy access to various trails. One of the highlights of my stay was the night sky, which was breathtakingly clear due to the lack of light pollution, allowing for excellent stargazing. The lodge itself was warm, the water supply was reliable, and all amenities were convenient and well-maintained. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay with no significant issues to mention. I highly recommend Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge for anyone looking to explore the area and enjoy a cozy, nature-filled retreat.

Peppers Bluewater Resort is a 4.5-star hotel close to the shores of Lake Tekapo. This resort offers luxury accommodation, great views and is ideally positioned for exploring the Mackenzie Basin and Southern Alps. It is a 10-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd. Surprisingly modern. Very clean. Convenient to the lake and shops by foot.

Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Guests enjoy free WiFi and views of the surrounding Rollesby Range and Mt Burgess. My husband and I stayed one night on the way to mt cook. The room we stayed spacious . Suits both couple and family. Very clean. Will come again.

Three Rivers Lodge is located off the southern banks of Lake Tekapo, in the shadow of New Zealand’s picturesque Southern Alps. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Lovely room looking out to Mt John. The unit was very quiet and had especially good curtains. The air conditioner was really good too. Andy, the manager, is very friendly and helpful.
