Discover Grand Hotel Karel V, a welcoming five-star residence in the heart of Utrecht. Breakfast was delicious and served in a stunning space. My meal at the Bistro was mouth-watering, and the service was excellent. The Bar & Lounge has a vast selection of drinks in a beautiful space, even for those who prefer a mocktail. The garden was beautiful, and I can only imagine how it looks in spring and summer. Overall, the stay was phenomenal. I came for a good night's sleep and woke up refreshed. It was the perfect momcation.

The hotel is located in the market square, with an exceptional window view, and with lots of attractions within a few minutes walk. The room had everything I needed - an electric kettle, tv, wi-fi, hairdryer, towels, toiletries and a shower. Besides the main view window, the room had also two windows with a "wall view" which added extra light to the room and bathroom. The rooms had access from the reception/ breakfast place or from the second door with 24h access. There was also a market with food, clothes and flowers so it's worth checking the days in case you don't want the additional crowd.
