Resting by the picturesque Keizersgracht canal, this hotel offers an ideal base for exploring this charming, historical town. Hotel and our room were gorgeous. The breakfast was included and served beautifully. Bed was very comfortable. A heat-pump in the room kept us cool and we slept wonderfully. The town is quiet and it was perfect for an evening walk after dinner in the hotel's dining room.

Hotel Spaander is located in a prime position in Volendam on the banks of the Lake Markermeer. This historical hotel dating back to 1881 has a truly authentic Dutch feel to it. Old charms hotel with a gorgeous selection of art paintings. My room had a big balcony with sea view. Although centrally located on the strip it is very quiet. Staff at reception, restaurant and spa are friendly. Room has all amenities. I would definitely stay again in this hotel.
