Het Weeshuis is located in the city centre of 'Hanzestad' Bolsward and offers accommodation set in a monumental building and former orphanage. Every day we had a beautiful breakfast set up for us in the main gathering room - delicious cheese, breads, pastries, soft boiled egg, fresh juices and coffee/tea. The room was large and the bed was without question like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom had a very nice shower - large towels. The history and architecture add to it's charm. The staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. We will stay here every time we visit.

Very convenient to the main street , shops and restaurants. Easy street access . No stairs . Large bed , large double shower and tub . Situated in an authentic Frisian farmhouse, this small-scale hotel provides you with spacious, pleasant rooms and a beautiful garden with a tree orchard. Relax in the Finnish sauna. This was an amazing stay, the outside pod cabins are super nice and the view is out of this world! The staff are so friendly and nice, always smiling and very helpful. The breakfast is awesome, all local and home made products, they even requested halal meat for us from the supplier which was so considerate of them. We loved out stay there.

Badhotel Bruin, nestled between the dunes and the mudflats on Vlieland, offers Boutique-style rooms with private bathrooms. This hotel dates from 1896 and features free WiFi throughout the property. They very well took care of my nervous dog, by proving him with cookies in the room! Excellent -upgraded- room, very comfortable for a senior and his pet.
