We got sick just before we arrived in Valladolid and the staff at Tia Micha went above and beyond to look after us. Great location right by the town square. Beautiful breakfasts in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Palapas Del Sol features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a pool. Beautiful hotel, very clean, close proximity to everything, we never took any taxis and just walked to town every evening. Good breakfast. Friendly staff, quick response to special requests. The only downside was the bar and very limited selection of drinks.

It has 2 outdoor swimming pools, and an à la carte restaurant. The overall experience is well worth it. I think they fit more into the category of a very good inn than a hotel, but that wasn't a problem. The location is one of the strong points, right on the beachfront and very close to downtown Holbox. The beach in front of the hotel is clean, free of rocks and seaweed, so you can enjoy the sea right in front of the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, although a small investment in some amenities could improve the experience inside. We stayed in the apartment, but there are also bungalows. The hotel has two swimming pools: one for adults only, in front of the beach and with a bar, and one at the back of the property, which is for families. We didn't use the adult pool with the bar, only the children's pool. The only downside is that there are few chairs and loungers. And if you stay in a bungalow near the family pool, you'll hear children playing all day. Breakfast is a huge plus; you can choose from a variety of dishes, from Mexican favorites to more traditional options like eggs and fruit. The portions are generous, so if you're traveling with your family, you can mix and match and everyone can have a little bit of everything. Tahamara, the staff member, was very attentive.

The hotel also features transportation services to destinations in the Chiapas. Beautiful gardens, perfectly clean and friendly staff. Very tastefully restored building with a lovely atmosphere.

Amazing hotel, maybe the best we’ve tried - the hotel itself is super nice (comfortable rooms, extremely cozy common areas), but the main draw is the owner, Leo. We loved the options for the included breakfasted, beautifully presented, deliciously cooked, and the tables setup around the garden, right in front of our room, was delightful.
