Set in a bright, colonial-style building, Casa Tia Micha offers attractive rooms with free Wi-Fi. Located in the centre of Valladolid, it is less than 5 minutes’ walk from San Gervasio Church. The garden and grounds were beautiful and well kept. A beautiful oasis close to the center. Very quiet and comfortable. Staff was welcoming and attentive. I would 100 % recommend this accommodation and stay here again.

The owner from Nice gave us some of the best service we have ever received. He upgraded our room without charge for our honeymoon, drew us a map of Merida with recommendations, carried our luggage to the room, made sure we had cold water for the night, and much more. 10/10. Super cute hotel and outdoor area as well.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and free breakfast, the Diplomat Hotel is located within Mérida's historic centre, 1 km from the Plaza Grande Park and 800 metres from the Zoo. The Diplomat is a beautifully designed boutique hotel in a wonderfully relaxed setting. From the moment we stepped through the door we were so warmly welcomed by Sara, Eric and their team and loved every minute of our stay. The welcome margarita was the best of our 3 week stay in Mexico (we tried many!) and our enormous room, which opened onto the pool terrace was simply perfect. Sara organised massages in our room on our first evening and her restaurant suggestions were perfect. We had already booked a guide (Raul Gil +52 999 157 9312) who, by coincidence, turned out to be the guide that The Diplomat used. He was fantastic and took us for a great day out to the Celustan, followed by visits to an old Hacienda and Uxmal (in our opinion a way better experience than Chichen Itza). The delicious breakfasts at the hotel were different each day and it was a treat to have afternoon tea!

Casa del Maya Bed & Breakfast is located in central Merida, nearby Merida’s Cathedral and offers complimentary breakfast for up to 6 guest, free Wi-Fi connection and an outdoor pool. Warm reception by owners and staff. Very helpful and made us feel welcome. Excellent location and delicious warm breakfast every morning. Beautiful surroundings with lush green gardens, nice pool to cool off. Aaron was a great resource for recommendations for dinner.

Located in Valladolid's town centre, Hotel Posada San Juan has an outdoor pool, terraces and gardens to offer to its guests. It is beautifully decorated and is very well located. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The garden and pool area is a beautiful oasis.

An outdoor pool, a spa and an elegant bar can be found in this colonial-style boutique hotel, situated 800 metres from Mérida Cathedral. The hotel is as beautiful as the pictures, maybe more so. Our best pictures from our time in Merida were of the interior of this hotel. Staff was really friendly and eager to help and to educate us. The area around the hotel is walkable, though right in front the sidewalk is very narrow. There are many restaurants and bars and shops near by.

Everything was great. Big and clean Room, beautiful garden, nice pool, fantastic staff. Highly recommend!

Featuring an outdoor pool and set next to Francisco Cantón Park, Hotel Mesón del Marqués is set in a Colonial 17-century house. What an amazing hotel! It’s so beautiful, clean, staff is great, very good restaurant and breakfast. Too bad Valladolid is not so big so we could stay here longer.
