Offering direct access to Playa Norte Beach, on the beautiful island of Holbox, Holbox by Xaloc features luxurious rooms and bungalows with terraces. The accommodation - and the people working there - are fantastic. It was our third accommodation in Holbox and certainly didn't disappoint. We stayed in the bungalow - which is definitely to be preferred above the apartments if you can afford it. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable beds and an hangmat - among other things. Everyday the housekeeping made sure the bungalow felt brand new. It had a romantic vibe to it. The breakfast was great - multiple options and fresh fruits and the surrounding is lush green. Above all, the staff made sure we had an amazing time. The only downside - which has been mentioned in the reviews - is the wifi. Or the lack thereof. To be honest, the lack of wifi does help in tuning off from work and being in the moment. But it definitely needs some improvement. Lots of accommodations in Holbox have Starlink nowadays - so it's fixable. Other than that, we had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing time.

Everything :) the staff was super nice, especially Clara made us feel welcome immediately. It’s close the the most important things in the city in our opinion which is the beach and Quinta Avenida which is where a lot of shops and restaurants are located.

The place is beautiful, the rooms are cozy and the breakfast is very tasty. The service at the hotel is excellent and the people are very nice, especially Valentina from the reception who always greeted us with a big smile and was always happy to help. We highly recommend!

The staff and location were great. Close to the beach and the main shopping and restaurant. They had fresh bottle water in the apartment, umbrella for the beach, and the balcony and air condition were wonderful.

Set on tropical Isla Mujeres island, this boutique hotel offers swimming pools, massage service and direct access to the Caribbean Sea. Some suites have a private balcony with sea views. Staff, accommodations and all were fantastic. The dogs and cat on property where a calming delight along with a friendly atmosphere. Presidential suite had everything I could have asked for.

This family-run hotel is located in front of the beach on the beautiful Holbox Island, just off Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and stylish hut-style rooms. The beachfront location offers stunning ocean views and easy access to the town’s laid-back vibe. We raved about the food – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making every meal a highlight. The friendly and attentive staff make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. With its bohemian decor and peaceful ambiance, the hotel exudes a chilled atmosphere that invites you to unwind and truly disconnect.

This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. Should be called Don Diego de los Pájaros! I did my birdwatching with a cup of coffee at the pool. Imagine a collared aracari in this green oasis in a busy part of Tulum. Hosts were very nice and helpful, for instance with their maps of their favorite restaurants and the best attractions. Breakfast under the thatched roof is wonderful.

This hacienda-style hotel is located on Playa del Carmen's Fifth Avenue, one block from the beach. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in every guest room. Perfect, centrally located and yet quiet. The entire staff was really nice and helpful. Would love to come back
