We loved the rooftop pool and lounge area, perfect balance of shade and sun options. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and we even got a free upgrade to a room with a lovely balcony. The road was quiet and had security, the area felt safe at night. The host was very friendly and accommodating, included clear instructions to access the property, recommended local restaurants, and was available by text at all times. We can’t recommend this location enough!

All rooms feature a balcony or terrace. a real gem of a place beautiful clean pool..breakfast was good but a little too much the same each day..the owner and staff very friendly and helpful..this place is like home with dogs cats bees and chickens..the best part for me was there was ample hot water for my must have showers

The rooms are highly original in design and layout. We were on the top floor and felt like in a tree house. Very nice and helpful staff with a proactive attitude. Seem to enjoy their jobs.

The villas at Viceroy Riviera Maya are furnished with a private kidney-shaped pool and flat-screen TVs with DVD players. Free Wi-Fi is provided and room service is available. While planning a winter escape, I focused more on the type of resort rather than location or beach. I wanted to feel pampered, zen and with nature. I had stayed at Viceroy hotels in the US before and always had a good experience, so I was happy to find this one with only 40 or so rooms and the type of setting I was seeking. The care the staff took was unparalleled to any other experience we’ve had. They looked after us, brought us treats, knew our preferences and were always so accommodating. The massage was the best we ever experienced. The vibe of the common areas is low key; no loud music or obnoxious behavior, the food was excellent. The suites are so different from your average resort, the bed was huge and comfortable, each room has an outdoor shower and plunge pool. The rain head showers were a delight with excellent pressure. I can’t say enough about this wonderful place (obviously). If you’re seeking an out-of-the-ordinary adult experience to relax and be pampered, this is the place.

Unic Design Hotel can assist guests 24 hours a day in the front desk. Absolutely positive experience. The staff at the reception were very kind and helpful. The room with Jacuzzi was very large, clean and welcoming. They also had some flowers that I had ordered online delivered to my room before I arrived. I recommend it.

Diana from the reception advised us about a lot of things in Tulum which was very helpful. We had breakfast every morning at Casa Mia (which was a part of the property), breakfast was very good and Luis and Flor were such nice people and also very helpful. The people in the kitchen made delicious food and made sure the presentation of the food was a 10 out a 10.

Every guest room at the Hotel Pelicano Inn Playa del Carmen features a private bathroom and air conditioning. Some rooms provide a view of the ocean. Lovely accomodation for a beach getaway. For a very busy and noisy town. You felt very sheltered from it. Access via a corridor through from the street. The only noise that was annoying was doof doof music played by competing establishments in the morning in particular, while utilising the beach chairs. The other rooms isn't immediately noticeable due to the design. It was lovely. Nice breakfasts, massages and beach location in the very centre of Player Del Carmen.
