I left my heart in Essaouira because of this facility and its people mainly. Essaouira is a small town but how come this stay for this budget can turn into an amazing experience. - At the first check-in Felix welcomed me and gave an information not only about riad but also about the city and things to do, places to eat on a map. This might be normal for most travelers but in my trips to Morocco, this happened for the first time to me at check in. - I reached to my room, it was more beautiful than in pictures! Of course it is small for 1 person single bed but i couldnt resist to take thousands of pictures of it. - Thankfully Felix was available and at Riad, he arranged me tours and restaurants. His neighbors and riad's restaurant all of them were flawless. - You can never find family style accommodation and that much professionally taken care. I hope the owners see the teams 5 star effort. - Then i met the rest of the team, Esma, was super nice and very knowladgable person. She helped me with recommending real good coverlet too. And most importantly none of the team seemed like they are trying to sell something. They were just giving the name and location of the place and letting me go. - In one of our conversations with Felix, he realized how much i would love to see local life. And he kindly asked me if i would like to come with him to join him at the volunteer event he is running to. That was the best decision i made to join him. I cannot thank enough for being such a great friend during my stay besides being such a great manager of the facilities. - when it comes to the hotel, you must experience it. The highest quality argan soap in the bathrooms, highest quality of bed and towels, cleanliness, a perfect taste of design, and a huge terrace where you can watch sunset is everything. You dont even need to look for another place to experience sunset. - Breakfast was creme de la creme...

Located in the historic centre, Riad Dar Maya is a luxury guest house with a rooftop terrace, a hot tub and a library. Guests can also enjoy the steam bath or a massage treatment, at a surcharge. Youssef was an amazing host with several food recommendations. The Riad was spotless, perfect location. Youssef also arranged a taxi to bring us to Marrakech.

This Moroccan guesthouse is set on the banks of the Oued Ksob River, and offers 2 swimming pools and a wellness centre. Guests are free to relax in the garden or on the poolside terraces. Everything was exceptional. It really exceeded our expectations in all aspects. We have travelled to many places around the world, but this was one of a kind …!

This luxurious hotel features a terrace with a heated outdoor pool with panoramic views of the Medina and the sea. It is just 400 metres from the beach, in central Essaouira. Wonderful, elegant, had a hard time leaving the hotel for sightseeing. Very refined, yet friendly place and helpful staff. Excellent rooms. High quality food. Would definitely stay there again.

Terletak di tembok kota, riad yang indah ini menawarkan teres di aras bumbung yang menghadap ke medina lama Essaouira. Everything was great. We loved the open fire in our room!!!! So romantic. And the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and charming.

The Riad Malaika Hotel is located in the heart of the Essaouira Médina, just 50 metres from the beach. The hotel offers beauty and body treatments and free Wi-Fi access. Absolutely beautiful hotel, with dinner options fit for a Michelin star restaurant. Staff is very friendly, location is great. We went to the hamam recommended by the hotel manager. Had an amazing time.

Overlooking the old port and the beach, Hotel Madada Mogador offers comfort and space, combined with eastern refinement. The terrace offers panoramic views of Essaouira Bay. The apartment, which we had, had so much space and was decorated lovely. The location of the hotel is very good, everything can be reached by foot.

This very old house has been beautifully restored by its owners while keeping an ambience of its historic past The welcome and care we received from the ever present manageress Hyatt and her staff could not have been better. The roof top breakfasts were delicious and the adjoining sun lounge was the perfect spot to relax An amazing location set in a quiet alley with a minute’s walk to the Main Street of the Medina It was difficult to leave and if we do get the opportunity to return to Essaouira we definitely will stay in Ryan Watier

At the heart of the Old Medina, La Maison des Artistes is within walking distance to the souks, fishing port and beach. Beautiful accommodation. The view at the roof terrace is otherworldly. Very clean - the place is thoroughly cleaned everyday - and the breakfast is very good. Isabelle has a sense of hospitality that is "hors catégorie". I am a solo traveler, and Isabelle and Abdelkader really took care of me; it felt like a sanctuary. Isabelle gives great recommendations on where to eat. One day Isabelle took me to the market to buy some fish, chose a restaurant for me where they grilled the fish and even showed me how to eat sardines the Moroccan way. Do visit the hammam, Isabelle makes reservations. My only regret is that I did it the last day of my stay, otherwise I would have definitely done it again.
