Eraeliya Villas & Gardens a boutique oceanfront beach resort in Weligama South Sri Lanka offering accommodation for up to 22 guests while ensuring personalized care for each visitor. Our stay at the Eraeliya exceeded our expectations. While it looks cool in the photos, it is even cooler to experience in person. We loved having breakfast on the terrace every morning and the pool is my favorite pool I've ever swam in. The servers, Deen and Rex, added to our stay with their friendliness and exceptional service. Location is great in that it is close to town, but also secluded from the hustle and bustle of Weligama. There are tuk tuk drivers always waiting outside the gate to take you where ever you need to go. I'd recommend staying here 10 out of 10 times and hope to return one day!

Located in Mirissa South, Sri Sharavi Beach Villas & Spa - with 43 metre saltwater infinity pool offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre. Check in was seamless and quick! Love the concept of 4 villas with 3 rooms in each. This is a great boutique stay for couples and families. Staff knew every visitor and provided great recommendations, for activities and food, even though the breakfast and dinner we had at the hotel was the best food. Special shout out to Kenny at the front of desk; no request was too big for him. Located a short tuk tuk ride from mirissa beach and Welegama ( surfing) - we will be returning to this hotel on our next trip to Sri Lanka. 5 start hotel, 5 star service, 5 start food ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Offering a private beach and beach side restaurant, Beach Inns Holiday Resort is located in Matara. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We just upgraded to the room with AC (free of charge). The pool was fabulous.

Featuring impressive ocean views and an outdoor swimming pool, Villa Atulya at Ocean's edge is set at the seafront in South Mirissa. The location right next to the ocean, what a view! The shower products, shower gel, shampoo, body milk. We liked it so much that we also bought it for home :)). The pool also is great, the food is amazing - we ate breakfast every morning and two dinner. The guys there either don't understand English well, or they are a bit distracted, but one morning we had to go on a whale watching cruise and we had to wake up very early. So in the evening we asked them to prepare some breakfast boxes for us to take with us. In the morning they initially forgot about us, then I think they found 2 boxes there and brought them to us. There were 4 of us and there was no time left to make 2 more boxes because we had to leave the hotel. However, when we returned from the cruise, at around 2 p.m., they prepared a proper breakfast for us and everything was great in the end.

Handagedara Resort & Spa is a cosy property situated just 100 metres from the Mirissa Beach. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi access at all areas and tastefully furnished guestrooms. By far the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka! The shower had warm water, the swimming pool was very pleasant and clean, with comfortable sunbeds, pool towels, and even a bar. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and in the room we had tea, coffee, and water that was replenished daily. The finishing touches throughout the hotel were beautiful, and we also felt safe with a security guard at the entrance in the evenings. What made our stay truly outstanding was the personal service: snorkeling, surfing, and even a taxi were all arranged for us at very good prices. We couldn’t have wished for a better experience!

Situated 1 km from whale watching at Mirissa Lagoon, Morning Star Guest House offers a spacious common living area with plush sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a seaview balcony. The most positive impression was definitely made by the owners of Morning Star and all the staff - wonderful people! Very good breakfasts, comfortable rooms, large bathroom. In the evening you can sit on the chairs outside and watch the fireflies. The location allows you to commune with nature - monkeys, squirrels, peacocks and even monitor lizards come to visit!
