Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. Great location, very modern design, wonderful relaxation areas, a kitchen with everything you need to cook breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Showers and a bathtub are great, with gender separation, washing machine. I really liked it and will recommend it to my friends.

Ideally located just a 10-minute walk from the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Guesthouse Soi offers various rooms including private Japanese-style rooms and dormitory rooms. Guesthouse Soi was an extremely comfortable and well located place for our visit to Kyoto. Our room was clean and spacious, the provided breakfast was a simple but tasty start to the day, with the upgraded Japanese breakfast being one of the best meals we’ve had during our stay here. Maki and Sim were so friendly and helpful, and I constantly witnessed them helping people throughout our stay. This saved us when we left our bag in a bus and they were immediately able to contact the bus company and the restaurant we were in prior to confirm where they were - something that would have been extremely hard without a local phone number and fluent Japanese. Guesthouse Soi will be our first choice if we return to Kyoto.

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. One of our best stay in Japan. Location works for us, minutes of walk to the subway station and bus station depending on your go. Facilities are great, from lobby, onsen, to our room. Really enjoy our stay. Staffs are super helpful, fluent in multi-lingual and super helpful to foreign travellers like us throughout arranging our luggage delivery to the next hotel. I would come back for Mitsui!

I had booked private room with bathroom and got cutest little room ever! It was soo clean, restrooms and shower room too! Lovely modern hostel with great staff and above everything, super clean! 5 min away from Kyoto station!

Kyoto Century Hotel terletak hanya 2 minit berjalan kaki dari Stesen Kyoto. Ia menyediakan bilik-bilik berhawa dingin dengan internet percuma. Just few steps from the Station and excellent value. Nice view of the Shinkansen tracks from our window.

Kyoto Brighton Hotel dianugerahkan 4 astaka hitam oleh Panduan Michelin selama 5 tahun berturut-turut sejak tahun 2011. The hotel itself is huge, very well kept and stylized. The staff were nice and spoke English well so it was easy as a foreigner. The room itself was large and extremely clean as the rest of the hotel. The bed was comfortable. The bath was large and very nice, they provide you with bath salts for a nice soak. There were a few different tea sets you could try, one of them being a matcha set. It was quiet, I couldn't hear my neighbors at all. I got a massage, the masseuse was very nice and professional, I felt relaxed. The food at the restaurants was very good as well, there were a few options for different cuisines and budgets. Overall a great experience and value for money. I came to relax and managed to do just that!

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from lively Nishiki Market and Ponto-cho Street, Matsui Honkan boasts large public baths and chic Japanese-style rooms. Loved it! From the warm reception to the comfortable bedding and all the personal touches. The Onsen was beautiful and even the PJs provided were so cute I bought them 😃

The staff were excellent! Super attentive, kind, and helpful. Great tattoo friendly Onsen on property as well as a tea ceremony with the owners of the hotel who are the sweetest people. Great experience.

Ryokan Kyoraku is centrally located just a 7-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station's north exit. It's a 3-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji temple. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Everything was perfect. Location, the premises, the staff, the room. I ve never been in a place with such an aura. It was a unique experience. I already miss my room..
