Guests can enjoy the mountain views from the outdoor bath. The property offers seasonal meals with local ingredients and fresh seafood. This Ryokan is non-smoking throughout. Complimentary WiFi is available. We had a huge room with beds and tatami mats, and amazing view of the mountain with the snow-covered 大. We stayed for 2 days and all 4 meals were different and amazing. One breakfast included a bit of fruits, yoghurt with granola, another one - an omelette with a sausage and salad (I like traditional food more, but for those who are concerned). We stayed in 3 different ryokans, and I would say kaiseki here was overall the best (specifically we liked japanese snapper). Location was also great as the cable car operated until 18:30ish. Addressing the comments about the uphill climb from the train station - just don't do it! :) You will most probably buy the Hakone pass anyway, so, when you arrive just take the cable car and walk downhill from the first stop. P.S. Hakone pass works for calendar days, so if you stay 1 night you would need a 2-day pass, for 2 nights a 3-day pass. We used only the private outside onsen (30 minutes for free each day), it was great!

A TV and a refrigerator are also included in rooms. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. This is my third time. The whole experience was amazing once again. Kind staff, amazing food, great relaxing facilities.

Super well cleaned, the two onsen were tattoo friendly and the water was perfect. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

The bath is great, the view is perfect and it’s very peaceful.

Hakone Pax Yoshino is located a 12-minute walk from Hakone Yumoto Train Station and offers indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and traditional multi-course Kaiseki meals. The Japanese rooms have a private hot-spring bath and free WiFi is available at the lobby. Breakfast was great. We were able to have dinner there as an add on, and the meal was amazing.
