The Excelsior is located in the city centre of La Maddalena Island, a 2-minute walk from the ferries to/from Palau. There is free public parking in front of the hotel. One of our two favorite hotels in Sardinia, it is 1/2 block from the ferry landing in the heart of Maddalena. The staff are helpful, friendly, warm, and very competent in addressing a wide range of requests Highly recommended

Although the accommodation is located in the city center, it was very quiet, comfortable, and spacious, with amazing amenities. Communication was quick and very pleasant. We were given helpful advice about affordable parking, which is not directly at the apartment due to the narrow streets, but we didn’t mind walking and enjoyed exploring the town. Everything was beautifully prepared. Thank you for the lovely refreshments. We definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Set in the centre of Sorso, Piazza San Pantaleo offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It features a sun terrace, and is 4 km from the beach. Wow, Piazza San Pantaleo guest house is one of the best places we have ever stayed. We booked the large "apartment" room, and we were so happy with the space. The room itself was amazing, but equally amazing was Giovanni's hospitality. He is a wonderful and warm host who gave us many recommendations and whose company we enjoyed during the morning breakfast hour. The house is incredibly well-designed with a beautiful collection of vintage and antique furniture and art. There is a sense of eclecticism but also understated elegance. The town is relaxing and very walkable. The views of San Pantaleo church from the balcony of the house were stunning. Giovanni's home is the kind of place were would hope to revisit in the future.

Set in its furnished garden featuring flowers and a free swimming pool, L'Agnata di De André Boutique Hotel is 11 km from Tempio Pausania. So peaceful and beautiful, the main hotel building the gardens and the rooms are large and airy opening up onto the pool area. The food, especially the dinner is exceptional in terms of exciting ideas, quality and price and the wines were gorgeous Big shout out to Michael, who went above and beyond when we had a problem with our car and helped organise our rental company to bring us a new car when in a village a ways away - thanks Michael!

The self service breakfast was unique and great to meet the fellow travellers. I had a hostel flashback, in a very good way. The terraces have an amazing view, and perfect place to have the breakfast. our room vas big and functional, shabby chic.

Bajaloglia Resort is set on a hilltop overlooking the medieval village of Castelsardo, Doria Castle, and the sea. Its large garden features a swimming pool and sunbathing area. The resort was stunning. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely. The restaurant was excellent
