Just 50 metres from the Pantheon, La Residenza del Sole al Pantheon is located in central Rome. It offers free WiFi throughout and air-conditioned rooms with satellite flat-screen TV. Great location. Everything is close within walking distance. Nice gift shop next door. Gelato stores right on the same street. 8 min walk to the Fountain of Trevi and the Pantheon is just at the end of the street to your right by the gelato store. I only used the metro twice cause I walked everywhere.

I have been to Rome before and we used the hop on hop off busses as a way to get around the city. Every major landmark was walkable from this location. We ended up using our hop on hop off to get from the main Rome train station to get closer to the hotel and that was it! We could have done the walk easily, but figured we'd be tired after our train ride. The rooftop is gorgeous! There is also two amazing food places nearby!

As it is a part of a big international chain, I expected something comfortable but nondescript. Surprise: the place has a lot of character, and feels rather like a 19th century family hotel, complete with a tiny cage-style art deco lift. Very good location: 5 min walking from the main station, but the neighbourhood looks safe and quiet. Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, everything spotless clean. Great value for money. With compliments for the big Albanian guy who knows how to greet guests to make them feel welcome. :)

Situated in the heart of Rome, Torre Argentina Relais - Residenze di Charme is 5 minutes’ walk from the Pantheon. Excellent base to plan visits to all major landmarks in Rome. Wonderful room and the hot tub was fantastic. Breakfast was a perfect start to the day and the central location means it can be a nice retreat to spend the hot afternoon in between the visits.

Across the road from Campo de' Fiori, Navona Queen Rooftop is in a 19th century building and offers a panoramic terrace with a hot tub overlooking Rome, Castel Sant'Angelo and the Gianicolo hill. Excellent location and super friendly staff. Rooftop bar is a nice bonus.
