Just 100 metres from Piazza della Repubblica, the Dolce Maria is located in the mediaeval hill town of Cortona. We loved the personal attention of the owners who went way out of their way for us! The gorgeous historic building, well-furnished, was a treasure. Nice breakfast of homemade selections. Great location near the main town plaza. Also we adored the three house cats!

Le Terre dei Cavalieri is a beautiful estate set in countryside 7 km from pretty Cortona containing a well-restored 18th-century farmhouse and villa with their own outdoor pool. So much character and charm. Beautiful setting and yet a quick drive to Cortona. The restaurant was outstanding.

Relais Villa Baldelli is a 17th-century villa, immersed in the peace and quiet of the countryside near Cortona. It offers free WiFi and an outdoor swimming pool. The pool is fabulous. Great walks in the countryside. Very friendly people work there and interesting people stay there. A short drive into Cortona, but plenty of good restaurants without having to drive up into the city.

Hotel San Michele is located inside of one of the oldest buildings of Cortona, the ancient Baldelli Palace, strategically located right in the heart of town. I loved staying in a hotel with such amazing history, the building was a few centuries old but nicely preserved and fit for contemporary needs. It was absolutely beautiful for me, but it all depends on your style and preference. The location is fantastic, just a few steps from the main square, but then Cortona is so small that everything is close 🙂. Parking is available on site which is great.

La Corte Di Ambra is located in Cortona's historical centre. Free Wi-Fi access is available in all areas. Elegantly renovated facilities. Room and en suite bath were spacious and traditionally styled. Located right near food, shopping, groceries and sights. Wonderful homemade breakfast each morning, (Sarah’s mom’s Cornettos we’re our favorite of the entire trip!) Family went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and convenient.

Set in Arezzo’s Piazza Grande, La Corte Del Re Suite & Rooms Arezzo is an ancient building that still has some of its original Etruscan and Medieval walls. The location was perfect-the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We bought some of their wine and truffle products. I liked that there were kitchen facilities in the room. Handy if you are staying for a few days.
