Perched 4000 feet above sea level on a peaceful hillside is Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg. The location is exceptional. I visited Taj Madikeri during rain season and I found this experience unique and amazing. Food was delicious with local varieties. I tried extra programmes like hiking, forest walk and local guides were great and knowledgeable. I learnt a lot and enjoyed.

The hotel is very well managed : the staff is very nice, the room are confortable, very clean. The breakfast is good as well. Eveything is done to facilitate your stay. Really appreciated the staff. I gave tip to the staff after luggage delivery. Surprisingly he refused to take it and said, we are professionals. I like their attitude. Then I order food for lunch for us and milk for baby. When the bill came, milk charge was not added and I inform them about it. But they said, milk is free. We went to tirumala early in the morning and we had to checkout at 12.00 in the noon. But we couldn’t arrive on time due to the que and walk for the mobile phone counter and then to take Chappels. So we got to the hotel around 1.40pm only. They had called us in between and informed us about the checkout. Even we delayed , they didn’t add any late checkout fees. Overall the stay was hassle free. Staffs were sensible and professionals. We believe hotel management trained their staffs really well. Overall they keep a good standard of communication
