Overlooking the River Boyne, the Killyon Guest House is located in Navan. With a free WiFi access, the property is less than 50 km from Dublin. Great hosts, very friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast, beautiful old house, situated directly at the river Boyne. Bus station just across the road with connections to Dublin nearly every 30 minutes. So really great location.

We had only one night in the Dublin area because of a change in our flight schedule. We decided to spend 12 hours at the Ashbourne House Hotel and we were very glad we did. There was a short and cheap bus ride to and from the airport to Ashbourne, or you can use Uber for around 50 euros. The town of Ashbourne is quiet and clean and the hotel is very nice. The food in the restaurant and the service in the bar are both excellent. We recommend this hotel highly.
