The Excelsior - Small Luxury Hotels of the World is Thessaloniki’s one and only member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World, located right at the heart of Thessaloniki. The guy at the reception was so welcoming. He even gave us a really good room upgrade option which we gladly accepted. The room was facing the main street but it was so quiet. Also, you had the impression that they had a limited choice at the buffet breakfast, but, they also presented us with a menu of things you could order. The menu was rich and food was delicious. Greatly recommend the hotel.

Centrally located in Thessaloniki City, the neoclassical-style Orestias Kastorias is within walking distance of Aristotelous Square and the White Tower. Friendly family-run hotel in an excellent central location. I requested and was given a quieter room, which was very clean with good-sized bathroom/shower and a lovely balcony overlooking the Roman ruins. Wifi and AC worked well. Blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep. Staff were so helpful with bringing my bag up the stairs and giving advice for restaurants, public transport, directions -- anything you need, they help you! Convenient location for airport bus and tour departures from Aristotle Square, both a five minute walk away.

It felt as if we were on a cruise ship over the sea (make sure you book with sea view). The room was spacious, the balcony wonderful, the service friendly and professional at the same time!!!

The Golden Star Hotel is a modern property situated on the beach of Peraia. It offers rooms with free WiFi and private balconies. The centre of Thessaloniki City is a 30-minute drive away. Ayia Marina Suites offer tastefully decorated accommodation with free WiFi, in Ouranoupoli. The hotel has a terrace and views of the sea. Everything was great. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, room service was also great, etc. fantastic location. Towels for the beach. They really made us feel like we were important to them.
