We loved the room with sea view and balcony. Magnificent view, wow 🤩 The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Freshly squeezed orange juice was great. Strongly recommend to sleep on the island in autumn. The views are amazing. Go to the top of the rock and wander around. Hike the Monemvasia loop to the lighthouse and around the island (not for kids).

Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. The view of the sea and the beauty feeling of having the place all to myself. It’s at the end of the island so you feel so away from the busy street life however is only a 3 minute walk to the busy area. It does get dark at night walking back so perhaps plan to use your phone for light at night.

Set amidst lush greenery, at an altitude of 600 metres, the traditionally built Guesthouse Mazaraki is situated close to the picturesque village of Mystras, offering views of the Byzantine castle of... Everything was wonderful - welcoming staff, beautiful location, gorgeous room and delicious breakfast. It’s incredibly quiet and romantic, and luxurious without being fussy.

One of the best places we stayed in. Big room, incredibly clean (cleaned every day) . Big bed, large terrace and a spare one for hanging wet stuff. Enough parking space. Staff always available. They greeted us some breakfast stuff on the table and in the fridge (bread, ham, cheese, butter, honey, tea, coffee, bottled water). Refilled coffee. One small suggestion - could use some shelves, especially in the bathroom.

Menawarkan lounge berkongsi, teres dan pemandangan bandar, Trapela Areopolis, Boutique Hotel terletak di Areopolis, 11km dari Gua Diros. Beautiful room in an original "Mani" setting. We were lucky to be on the top floor, where you have like a common terrace where you can watch the sunset. The staff is super friendly and the centre of Areopolis is a less than 2 minutes walk. We did not book the breakfast, which probably was our loss since the breakfast in the town were not that good, so better book it here.

Located in the Castle of Monemvasia, Ritsos Guesthouse offers stone-built accommodation with sea or garden views. Rooms and apartments at Guesthouse Ritsos are warmly decorated opening out to a patio.... Excelent breakfast, very clean accomodation furnished with good taste, perfect location even close to the beach, which I didn't expect at all

We were very happy with our apartment which is situated a few meters and a few stairs away from the Monemvasia main gate (please note that you have to carry your suitcases or backpacks because of the cobble stones). The apartment is nicely furnished, offers a great view on the ocean from the windows (+ from the bed :)) and also has amenities like a coffee machine & coffee tabs. The owners have a store downstairs where you can get the keys and buy their local products like olive oil, wine or skin care. We had some problems with noise from the opposite bar one night because they tend to play loud music on Saturdays and the hosts did all they can to make up for it, even though it was not their fault and we really appreciated it. In terms of hospitality, these were one of the nicest hosts we have met so far.
