With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. We really enjoyed spending our vacation at nereids! It’s beautiful, with friendly staff and with a wonderful view of the city and harbor. It’s at the end of town so nice and quiet but still very close to centre and swimming.

The room is so tastefully decorated and furnished. So much attention to detail, as seen in the high quality toiletry products and the design of the pantry. The panoramic view of the town and harbour from the rooftop deck was divine.

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and homey, really enjoyed it!

Just 200 metres from the scenic Hydra Port, the 5-star Hotel Leto Hydra offers elegant rooms, furnished as a traditional Hydriot mansion. Such pretty rooms. We had a balcony room and I just loved waking up in the morning to the roosters and donkeys.. this is a beautiful hotel to stay

With its warm and welcoming staff, this traditional mansion is just a 3-minute walk from Hydra’s port and features beautifully appointed guest rooms with views of Hydra or the sea. On arrival we were welcomed by Nicholas who was extremely friendly and helpful. A great start to our stay. We were on the first floor and the room was a good size, the bed comfy, good wardrobe space, good air con, nice to have windows to open and let the sun in (even through the massive heat wave). The bathroom itself was small but did the job for our 5 night stay. The shower was a bit of a let down - very tight squeeze to get in and shut the doors (and we are average build). If we moved without thinking about this small space, we accidentally nudged the tap off or to the hot or cold side. Had to be super careful in that respect. The free breakfast was out of this world amazing, tasty, different every day, home cooked/made, abundant (got us through to the afternoon!). We looked forward to it every morning and ate 90 to 100% of it. Jenni was an amazing hostess who presented us with this breakfast daily and she tolerated my “5 to 6 cup coffee” husband with delightful dry humour! She always had a funny comment to make. Loved her! One of the house maids was super friendly and greeted us every time we saw her - sorry I didn’t get her name! Unlucky for us it was a heat wave the whole 5 days there so going back and forth from the city centre was quite the trek for this unfit oldish woman, but I achieved it 4 or 5 times a day, albeit puffed on arrival. On a cooler day it would be very pleasant. A thousand thank you’s Jenni, Nicholas and friendly housemaid - you made our stay in Hydra magical. Set in a historic building in the heart of Hydra, Angelica Traditional Boutique Hotel boasts charming accommodations with spa baths or jet showers, and offers a courtyard with a mini pool, hot tub and... Loved everything about it. Location, room, staff. 11/10!

Orloff Boutique Hotel, one of the historic Hydra mansions of the 18th century, is lovingly restored to an elegant, luxurious 4 star boutique hotel. Loved every second of my stay here. Such a dream. So relaxing. Beautiful people. The owner and staff were so lovely. Rooms are beautiful. It was perfect.
