Built in 1925 and classified as a monument, the GDM Megaron is located in the heart of Heraklion, overlooking the old Venetian port and within walking distance of all the major sights of the city. The hotel was gorgeous. We had a sea view room with a balcony that was just sublime. The breakfast was simply the best.

Within 100 metres from the city centre, Kastro Hotel is well-situated for exploring the ancient sites of Heraklion. It offers spacious, air-conditioned rooms with breakfast included in the rate. Staff were very helpful. Location is excellent, with everything in walking distance.

Located in the centre of Chania, Kydon Hotel is opposite of the main market hall and just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and the Venetian Harbour. Perfect location. Room was clean.

Porto Veneziano Hotel enjoys a privileged location on the waterfront of Chania's Old Venetian harbour. It offers panoramic views and accommodation in a minimal navy design. Very nice hotel, with one of the best breakfast options with the possibility of ordering from the menu. Wide variety of coffee. The staff was very nice, helpful. Parking was available behind the hotel. The hotel had a central location in the port, access to the city centre and restaurants. The rooms were clean, we loved that we could blackout the windows. The windows blocked out the noise of nightlife perfectly. We wish we could have stayed in this hotel a bit longer.
