This former church has been tastefully converted, enabling retention of the original features. Auld Kirk B&B is situated in the heart of picturesque Royal Deeside. A wonderful and cozy place to stay in Balleter. The host was friendly and briefed us on the do's n don't while staying there. The room was neat and clean. We appreciated very much the welcome pack of cookies and the taste of local whiskey. Breakfast was fantastic and cooked as requested from the menu. A good variety! Checking in and out was easy at the reception. A close walk to the town center.

Set high above the village of Charlestown of Aberlour and overlooking the River Spey, this elegant country hotel is an ideal venue for shooting and fishing, and for whisky-lovers. An exceptionally great range on offer for breakfast, probably the best ive experienced in any hotel anywhere in the world, and with a combination of Scottish traditional and healthy foods. Dinner was likewise extremely good; no need to consider eating out. Staff were very helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. The “Whisky Snug” room for tastings is almost unbelievable, with 600 whiskys on offer!

The staff were exceptionally friendly and took great care of us. The room was huge, clean and quiet, and even came with a fridge. The bathroom was super spacious and functional. Breakfast was simply amazing and we dined at the pub in the evening too, which was also delicious! This was definitely the best accommodation we had on our 11 day trip to Scotland!

Amazing bed , really comfortable -exactly what we needed after our mini Scotland tour.- everyone was incredibly polite and there was a rich -in flavor and quantity- breakfast. Definitely recommend And we hope we'll see you again soon !

The Chester Hotel is a listed building dating from the 19th century, combining original design with striking, contemporary features. Very comfortable good sized room. Quiet location and close to the city centre. Great restaurant and bar service. Friendly and helpful staff.
