Springfield Lodge Bed and Breakfast offers accommodation 2.7 km from Stirling town centre, on a lane that provides views of the surrounding hills and countryside, as well as a nearby view to the Wallace Monument. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. Very clean and beautiful house with very nice view from the windows. Love that they provide a place to take the shoes off at the entrance. Modern & spacious bathroom & bedroom with all amenities we need for the night. Hot breakfast was wonderful. And the host is very kind and attentive.

The room was beautifully appointed, with little extras like the butterscotch cookies, and a chocolate on the pillow. John and Susan were excellent hosts and couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating - they sorted me out a taxi to get to Dunblane station and were very forgiving when I slept in the first day and missed my breakfast slot!

Situated in the heart of Loch Lomond National Park, The Winnock Hotel is set in an 18th-century building and features an on-site bar and a restaurant serving British cuisine. Public parking facilities are available free of charge. The Winnock is the oldest Hotel in the UK. It was full of character and charm. The location was perfect for exploring the Trossachs. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were very clean, with new mattress envelopes on each bed. The Hotel bar had a great dinner and friendly service. The entertainment was really very good, a great way to spend a Friday night in the Scottish countryside! The roaring fireplace was perfect to warm up after a long hike .

All rooms are equipped with Smart TV’s, free wi-fi, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer, as well as walk -in shower (or bath on request), and some have lovely views to the King Robert statue and monument. Hotel was perfect for what we needed. Staff were very helpful. Room.was a good size for 3 of us. Bar food was tasty.

Individually designed en suite rooms include an LCD satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, bathrobes and a hairdryer. Some rooms also feature spa baths and lounges areas. Some of our group had Full Breakfast very tasty others only had room for Continental after delicious dinner previous night. Bedrooms very comfortable. Excellent location for our group meeting up.
