Hotel De France is located in the centre of Nantes, a 2-minute walk from the Theatre Graslin, the Passage Pommeraye and Place Royale. The interior is designed in a contemporary style to complement the architecture of the 18th-century lobby. We stayed at the 4 star Oceania in Nantes for just one night and wish we had booked it for the two nights we had spent the week before at the supposed 4 star Novotel on the Loire which is more like 3 star maximum there! No comparison with the Oceania which was fresh, clean, characterful being a converted stableyard and home to the owner ( Graslin) in the 18th century after whom the Place Graslin is named . Halle de Pommeraye and shopping street of rue Crebillon leading down to the place Royale, literally out of the arched enclosed courtyard entrance and excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk like la Cigale !

Located in Le Croisic, right on the sea, this elegant hotel offers a gastronomic restaurant and a bistrot, free Wi-Fi and free public parking. All of the guest rooms include a private bathroom with free toiletries. This is not the first time we have stayed here with our family. Amazing location, service is beyond praise. Always an individual approach. We will continue to come every year.

The property provides 12 private parking spaces at an extra cost and subject to availability call us to check for available spaces. The location is perfect for tourists - within a short walk of the castles and all other attractions. Excellent breakfasts with delicious croissants, but also scrambled eggs and bacon for those who like an English style cooked breakfast. Good coffee. We also made use of the 'Club' for drinks and snacks during the day and in the evening.

Located in La Baule bay, 6 km from La Baule Escoublac Train Station, Relais Thalasso Baie de La Baule offers a gourmet-style restaurant, a terrace and a garden. thalassoterapy center available with supplement and hydromarin pool is free. The staff were so accommodating and friendly , had so much time to explain, even if taking extra time was necessary due to our language barriers. Dinner options in the hotel were delicious and fabulous value, and then the breakfast...all you can eat Oysters & Champagne, need I say anymore.

The rooms are uniquely designed with furniture by Jean-Philippe Nuel. They are en suite and have flat-screen TV and free WiFi internet access. We had a Junior Suite. It was a nice big room with plenty of room for three guests. The bathroom was great with a wonderful hair blower.

This Campanile hotel is a 3-minute drive or 10 minutes in public transport from the city centre of Nantes. It offers modern guest rooms, a restaurant and a 24-hour lounge bar. Unlimited free Wi-Fi is available. Location is good enough, not so far from center by bike. My bike can park inside the private parking for free and secure because the door of parking will close during night. The room is clean and staff is friendly. Hotel supply breakfast and dinner, there also has a buffet restaurant nearby, unfortunately they are closed for Monday.

Hotel The Originals Nantes Voltaire Opéra (ex Qualys-Hotel) is located in central Nantes, 50 metres from the Théâtre Graslin and a 10-minute walk from Machines de l'île. The hotel was originally built in 1855. The staff are lovely and the location, quiet and central. The hotel offers inviting common spaces with interesting books.
