Within its compound are vegetable and fruit gardens, a terrace and patio area, sun chairs and other greenery to enjoy, which my husband and I did with a glass of wine each evening—also visited by the friendly and cuddly cat. It is a peaceful place, and Anne hosts with passion and professionalism. It is obvious that she has carefully decorated each room and every morning, she greets you with a smile and homemade marmalades, and other local delectables for an incredible breakfast. We truly enjoyed staying there and hope to visit again.

Located 200 metres from the Belfry in the town of Bergues, Bienvenue Chez Nous is also only 3 km from Dunkirk Golf Club and 20 km from Cassel. A buffet breakfast with fresh pastries and fruit juices is served every morning. It’s our 3rd visit, food is great quality, wine reasonably priced. The location is perfect for Le Shuttle to the UK. Rooms are spacious and well appointed….couldn’t ask for more of the super friendly staff. We will be back!

From the moment we pulled up in the car, the serviçe was excellent. The receptionist checking in which language she should communicate; a little birthday treat left in our room. Exceptional dinner - best Caesar salad have ever had; gorgeous toiletries, dreamy bed, and a shower that it was hard to leave… Fluffy bathrobes and slippers. It was truly a memorable stay!

Such a generosity of spirit about this place. Very friendly host for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. Lots of thoughtful little touches, such as free bottles of water (large ones!) and even bags of crisps. Sunny seaside vibe to the rooms, great location and generous breakfast.

The Channel Tunnel is 9 km away. We have stayed several times & the welcome is always good from the staff, the room is clean & warm (very cold outside) & the dinner & breakfast are good value for money.
