Set on the Bay of Biscay and surrounded by mountains, the Higueralde guest house is located 15-minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. Beautiful views from the large room, comfy bed, easy check in and friendly hosts. And of course this has to be the best breakfast in all of Spain: you’ll be full for two days! This is my second time staying here and I’ll be back, it’s the absolute best place in the area, especially if traveling with a dog. The road is actually quite easy and there are signs for the hotel: be sure to ignore the straight uphill option and instead take the slightly longer route that goes towards the beach but then winds back up the hill. There is ample parking up top behind the hotel. Muchas gracias una vez más!

Located just 45 metres from San Sebastian Convention Centre and the Auditorium, Pensión Kursaal offers bright rooms with central heating and free Wi-Fi. Absolutely perfect and super nice service. Very, very helpful, kind and welcoming. Especially Leire at the reception. We came for the Marathon. This place is a perfect stay, if you want to take part in the marathon, because it’s so close to the start and finish.

Less than 5 km from the coast and beside the Basque town of Irun, this charming hotel has a lovely garden and free internet. had a wonderful stay at Hotel Atalaia on the hottest day of the summer. The staff was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful with both us and our dog. They managed to get us the last available table at their restaurant, which turned out to be amazing—the food was delicious, and the chef is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. A truly warm and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Hotel Villa Soro occupies 2 classical buildings, one of which was built in 1898 and is a Historical Heritage Building of San Sebastian. Free WiFi is available. Its the 4th time we are staying in this hotel and its just amazing as usual!!!

Bangunan abad ke-19 ini menghadap ke Teluk La Concha. Ia terletak bersebelahan dengan pantai, di persiaran tepi pantai San Sebastián. The view is spectacular. Worth every euro. I loved it. Also, the room sis truly luxurious and I felt very very looked after.

This small, non-smoking family hotel enjoys stunning sea views from the Monte Igeldo area of San Sebastián. Look out over the dramatic Basque coastline as you enjoy breakfast in its scenic dining... This is a very friendly and characterful hotel in a lovely setting on Monte Igueldo. We had a room with a sea view which we were glad we had chosen. The availability of a laundry room was unexpected and useful. You can walk into San Sebastián along the Camino, but need a bus (or taxi after 10pm) back.

The Zinema7 is themed around cinema and the San Sebastián Film Festival. Each room offers free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV’s and is dedicated to an actor or director who has visited the city. It's a fine themed hotel, with loads of character and unique decoration.

Hotel Rural Gaintza is set amongst the wineries and vineyards of Txakoli Gaintza, featuring beautiful views of the mountains. There is free Wi-Fi and free parking. Getaria is 8 minutes' walk away. What a find! Hotel Gaintza is a hotel and winery located in the countryside next to the Camino de Compostela northern route. Vineyards surround this beautiful establishment. One can take a tour of the winery and vineyards with wine and food tastings for a reasonable fee. It was an absolutely wonderful stay.

A 5-minute walk from Playa de la Concha Bay, Pensión Easo is 10 minutes' walk from San Sebastián's old town. It features attractive rooms with free WiFi access. I loved the this,it would have been nice if there was a person at the reception all day.
