Recently restored boutique hotel from 1929, located on the beachfront in Bakio. Exquisite architecture with attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere. Beautiful interior and the room was spacious, clean and modern. Excellent bathroom. Breakfasts are especially good and strongly recommended, you will not get better anywhere else in town.

Offering stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, Pensión Basque Boutique is located in Bilbao’s Old Town, 150 metres from Santiago Cathedral. The Basque language theme room was excelent for a language nerd trying to learn some phrases in the language. You wake up and everything is around you! Eskerrik asko!

And of course this has to be the best breakfast in all of Spain: you’ll be full for two days! This is my second time staying here and I’ll be back, it’s the absolute best place in the area, especially if traveling with a dog. The road is actually quite easy and there are signs for the hotel: be sure to ignore the straight uphill option and instead take the slightly longer route that goes towards the beach but then winds back up the hill. There is ample parking up top behind the hotel. Muchas gracias una vez más!

Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are offered at the Hotel Eguren Ugarte. This design hotel is surrounded by 130 hectares of vineyards and fields in Alaves, in La Rioja. The view from our balcony was spectacular! Would definitely recommend booking a room with a balcony. Watching the sunset was amazing. The hotel in itself was very nice, way nicer than I expected from the pictures. We had a great time, including a visit to the winery, a lovely dinner at the hotel, and a jog through the vineyards.

Designed by Javier Mariscal, this stylish hotel is located opposite Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum. It features a roof terrace with spectacular views. Everything was excellent. Great breakfast.
