Set in 2 historic buildings in Goslar’s Old Town, this charming 4-star hotel offers a garden, a library and an inviting breakfast room. This hotel is located bang in the middle of Goslar, the rooms were renovated carefully to mix old wooden structures and modernities. The breakfast was great. We got late due to traffic, but the reception waited for us to check in after closing time. Parking possible on the hotels yard, very convenient.

This hotel lies in the heart of Wernigerode, a 5-minute walk from the town hall and Wernigerode Castle. Schlossberg-Hotel Garni offers free Wi-Fi. location is reachable and the room is cosy, the breakfast is amazing!

This family-run hotel occupies an over 200-year-old, timber-framed house at the foot of the Burgberg hill in Quedlinburg. It offers free WiFi. Needed an "on the road stop" and saw this incredible place, and wow, the photos don't do justice to the town or the accommodation. It's a wonderful restoration of a very old building with all the quirky features, but is exceptionally well done and really comfortable. The city is a few minutes walk away and the literally hundreds of old timber frame buildings will take your breath away. Lovely meal next door too.
