This 3-star hotel is in a quiet side street in the historic town centre of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. It offers a friendly family-run atmosphere and traditional Franconian cuisine. Even before arriving at the Hotel Sonne, the manager communicated with me as I have some medical issues, and he made accommodations to assist my wife and I. The Hotel is right in the middle of everything. The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you have a car, the garage is right around the corner and very easy to get to. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars service

This historic hotel was built in 1264 and is located at the Markusturm tower in medieval Rothenburg. It features a traditional restaurant and free Wi-Fi internet throughout the hotel. Excellent location, very friendly staff, very clean and well kept room and very nice restaurant with delicious food.

Offered parking beyond checkout to allow more time to sight-see before leaving location, as well as use of toilet. Will definitely return.
