One of the rooms we booked was beyond out expectations but the other was quite small and had a slanted ceiling and we kept hitting our heads..

Backstage Hotel Serviced Apartments features apartments with full hotel services designed by architect Heinz Julen and offering views of the Matterhorn from their balcony or terrace. We were caught in a snow storm and Zermatt was cut off from outside. There was no electricity for one and half days. But the hotel took really good care of us, provided food and drinks, charging place... let us stay for one extra night. We have to thank Daniel, who went out his ways to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We would definitely like to come again.

Located in the centre of Zermatt, Backstage Boutique SPA Hotel offers uniquely furnished rooms with open fireplaces and free WiFi. Opened in December 2010, it features a spa area. Everything is perfect. The room was very beautiful, they also have a good facilitys on the SPA inside and a cozy swimming pool outside. We enjoyed so much!

In a quiet location in the car-free village of Zermatt, Hotel Capricorn offers magnificent views of the Matterhorn, free in-room WiFi. We absolutely loved our stay here!!! The hotel was a short walk away from the town and the train station. Very easy to access the gondolas as well. We got a room with a Matterhorn view and WOW! The bed was clean and comfy and we had plenty of storage for boots, coats, luggage etc. The breakfast was excellent and there was self-serve coffee/tea in the lobby for guests to use any time. One of our favorite things about this hotel was the amazing spa that was available for guests to use! They had a sauna, steam room, hot tub with a view, and lots of comfortable and relaxing places to lounge - all included in the price of your stay! They also offered several spa services at an additional cost. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Zermatt!

The small Hotel Sarazena is located next to the train station in Zermatt and features a sauna. Rooms have an en-suite bathroom, cable TV and free WiFi internet access. Location of Sarazena is excellent, close to the train station and the Gornergrat railway, and close to the bus that takes you to the Matterhorn Glacier Express. Staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. The heated ski store room is a major bonus to ensure shi boots are toasty warm and dry the next day. My room was quite large and would be very comfortable for two people.

The ski-in Alpenlodge Superior is located on a sunny slope on the edge of Zermatt, offering panoramic views of the Matterhorn and free access to the wellness area. Everything. Hosts were superb and accommodated all our requests. Kids friendly place with great Matterhorn view. They do have vouchers for cheaper taxi services to go around Zermatt.
