The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. We went for the Christmas market and the hotel was in a great location for this as we could walk to it in around 20 minutes. Also it is very close to the main tram stops

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! We appreciate all the advice from the receptionist and his generous and kind gesture of allowing us to check in 1 hour earlier. It is very much appreciated! We are very grateful! Such a customer-oriented approach, highlighted by the comfortable beds, soft bathrobes with slippers in the room, the wonderful view from the window, festive lanterns on the balcony railings, a view of the spectacular fireworks on New Year's Eve, an extremely delicious breakfast and friendly polite ladies in the restaurant every early morning- all of them made our stay in Hotel truly unforgettable. Euler Basel Hotel deserves 20 stars!
