The staff, location, room basically everything about the stay was excellent! Really close to the Christmas Market, restaurants and shopping. The bed was comfy and the room was fairly quiet too.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Great location. Easy to get to the city centre but quiet. Amazing helpful staff that was capable to help in a situation where we needed help.

The curtains did the job - the room was completely dark at night. The staff was extra nice and accomodating. The hotel is close to the tram line that takes you right to the main train station and the centre of the old town.
