Reception staff made us a cappuccino on arrival as we were early for check in. Staff were excellent. Young lady at reception made us a cappuccino one night when sitting at a front table. So thoughtful very friendly. Very clean room.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was fine :)

The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. One of the highlights was the free Basel Card, which made getting around the city much easier. The Wi-Fi connection was also reliable and fast, which was a big plus. The atmosphere was relatively quiet, which might not suit those looking for a more social experience. However, if you're looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay in Basel, Basel Backpack is a solid choice. Would recommend for budget travelers!

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Location was perfect. Large room, fantastic bathroom, great brunch. Staff was very friendly.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. Super good value stay. Close to train station and very convenient to everywhere. The week I booked the price was insanely good for single person and the room has everything needed and super clean and functioning perfectly. The bed was very comfortable.What's amazing is that I checked in at around 9am! I was hoping to leave my luggage there but the reception said my room was ready. Amazing!

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. It was right by the train and metro, so perfect to get around where I needed.
