Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. Super good value stay. Close to train station and very convenient to everywhere. The week I booked the price was insanely good for single person and the room has everything needed and super clean and functioning perfectly. The bed was very comfortable.What's amazing is that I checked in at around 9am! I was hoping to leave my luggage there but the reception said my room was ready. Amazing!

It is very much appreciated! We are very grateful! Such a customer-oriented approach, highlighted by the comfortable beds, soft bathrobes with slippers in the room, the wonderful view from the window, festive lanterns on the balcony railings, a view of the spectacular fireworks on New Year's Eve, an extremely delicious breakfast and friendly polite ladies in the restaurant every early morning- all of them made our stay in Hotel truly unforgettable. Extremely comfortable and modern. Excellent view of the river. Tram was a 2 minute walk. We ate at the outdoor restaurant on one evening g and the food was excellent and service outstanding.
