The best about this guesthouse was the personal welcome from the British host couple. Our cozy room had a wonderful view of Lake Hallstatt. All guests can use a self-service dining room with the same wonderful view. The decoration of the rooms was tasteful. The breakfast was completely sufficient and appropriate.

The included breakfast was nice and filling and the genuine helpfulness and kindness of our hosts truly outstanding! Overlooking Lake Wolfgang, Hotel Garni Anzengruber is only 100 metres away from the shore. It offers free internet access, buffet breakfast, balconies in all rooms and a private lido. Absolutely loved this place. Felt like home. :) We loved getting to know the owners and enjoyed a laid-back, nature filled vacation! Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful. Would love to return soon.

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony. I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience. The location was perfect for me, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view from the balcony. It was lovely to sit out and take in the sights and sounds of the area. The staff at the hotel were also incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. In fact, they were especially helpful in helping me find the bus to leave. I was impressed with their knowledge of the area and their willingness to assist me. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was unbeatable, the room was spacious and comfortable with a great view, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. The bed was really soft and comfortable, the room was very clean, everything as pictured in site. Staff were all exceptionally welcoming & polite. We are very happy with our stay here and would recommend to family & friends

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang, Strandhotel Margaretha offers a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a lakeside terrace, a bar, a sauna, and a relaxation room. The views from our balcony right onto the lake. The staff was fantastic. And the location not in the middle of town so it was quieter but you could still walk there in about 5 minutes.
