There could not have been a better place than this. The hosts are amazing people, breakfast is great, view from the room is so incredible that it was simply difficult to leave the room, location at perfect walking distance from the station, nice food places within walking distance, spotless clean, cozy, homely, spacious, perfect for couples or solo travellers if you want to get away from a busy city.

Overlooking Lake Wolfgang, Hotel Garni Anzengruber is only 100 metres away from the shore. It offers free internet access, buffet breakfast, balconies in all rooms and a private lido. Absolutely loved this place. Felt like home. :) We loved getting to know the owners and enjoyed a laid-back, nature filled vacation! Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful. Would love to return soon.

Located in a quiet bay right at the shore of Lake Wolfgang, the 4-star superior Cortisen is the first boutique hotel in the Salzkammergut region. Wi-Fi access is available free of charge. The hotel staff is super nice and friendly, he recommend us the activities and help us find a taxi during rainy season, made us enjoyed st Wolfgang more, would definitely recommend. Breakfast is also nice, and inner decoration is very artistic.

Chalet was very warm and cozy and comfortable. Swimming pool is great, views unbelievable. Our family totally loved the stay here.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. I loved EVERYTHING about this hotel. It was so clean and the staff was just the best. The hotel is located 2-3 min from the Boat station (to the train station). The bathroom is exceptional, the restaurant is very good and overall the best hotel in Hallstatt!

A 5-minute walk from the centre of Sankt Wolfgang, Strandhotel Margaretha offers a private beach on the shore of Lake Wolfgang, a lakeside terrace, a bar, a sauna, and a relaxation room. The views from our balcony right onto the lake. The staff was fantastic. And the location not in the middle of town so it was quieter but you could still walk there in about 5 minutes.
