Our family stayed in the top floor apartment and the kids loved the attic turned into a kids room. The place was clean and spacious, with a beautiful view of the mountains. Iulia provided us with a spot-on support via chat so we got every bit of information we needed. The only downside is for those looking to leave their car and get to the center by walk - the hotel is on a hill and not too close to the pedestrian area.

We liked the traditional ambience, the stained glass windows, the wood panelling, the friendly service, quiet location + of course the omelettes and good coffee for breakfast! This historic building was designed by the same Czech architect who designed the smaller of the two well known local castles and it was his home for many years. It is not luxurious and isn't staffed 24/7 but it suited us fine and we liked it a lot. We stayed two nights and would stay there again if we came back to the area. The two famous castles are 20-25 minutes walk away by quiet back roads.

The staff were incredible! They organized breakfast for us outside the restaurant hours - as we were going hiking very early. And the stay was very good too. Perfect base camp to go around the area. Easy to park. Great restaurant next door also called Paj - Cosmin our waiter was from another world! The spa facilities are enough for a couple.
