Loved the staff, their friendliness and helpfulness. Loved the ambience and decor. Loved the location (cafes, old part of town, near the station and river). Loved the restaurant and breakfast. Loved it all!

Great location, big comfortable room with very high ceilings. Clean, well presented. A fabulous breakfast is served in the building across the courtyard. Full access to the facilities in the main hotel, which is a 10 minute walk through the town. There's private parking behind the villa. It was very welcome as we were touring on our motorbikes. Our room (803) also had an annexe with a large table and chairs and double doors with steps to an outdoor seating area in the grounds under the shade of a large tree. 2 minutes walk into the centre of Valkenberg. Lots to see and do. We would stay again.

Set in a former monastery in the centre of Sittard, Hotel Merici has an underground parking facility.

We enjoyed the peaceful Sittard & the hotel has a lovely vibe. Everybody is helpful, friendly & efficient. We travelled with a small dog & there is a nice park right behind the hotel.

The hotel is amazing. You really feel in a small castle. The landscape is beautiful. The internal settings are modern and updated. Rooms very comfortable. Staff super friendly. We took advantage of the lower rate out of season. But be aware that the restaurant is so amazing that you will probably spend more there than in the room fee, like we did. Overall a surprisingly good experience.

very good! Too close to the train station! There are buses and trains to go out, very convenient! It is also very close to the city on foot. We are traveling as a family, and we like the hotel sofa bed the most, which is very big! ! It’s no problem to sleep 2-3 children. The hotel rooms are beautifully designed and equipped with air-conditioning. It’s comfortable to sleep at night in hot summer and well ventilated. The kitchen and kitchen utensils in the room are very new. All in all, the price of this kind of housing is definitely worth the money. , A cost-effective hotel, our family will come again next time!
